Job Description:

Hours: Mon - Fri days

Job Summary/Purpose:

Programs include occupational health services to stakeholders, and safety interventions.  Responsible for the implementation and coordination of pre-placement and annual physicals, immunizations, etc., all with emphasis on health promotion and injury/illness prevention and documentation of these activities. Provides coverage as needed for Occupational Health & Safety Nurse and assists with health and wellness programs..

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse Licensed in the State of Illinois

  • Acute care (adult medicine) or Occupational Health or Infection Control Experience - two years

  • CPR card required

  • Employee Assistance/Substance Abuse Program Experience -preferred

  • Computer/data entry skills

  • Strong analytical skills           

  • Excellent interpersonal/customer service skills

  • Strong communication skills, verbal & written

  • Independent, self-starter who requires minimal supervision

  • Phlebotomy skills, fit testing, visual testing, drug screening
